I strongly prefer drinking with a straw. Not everyone does, but I do. The frustrating part is finding a straw. They never give you one on airplanes, for example.
With this cup, however, I'm always able to enjoy my beverages with a straw! The permanent plastic straw is something I can grab separate from the cup, but with the cup, it works even better. The cup is nicely insulated. I've filled it with ice in the morning and come back to my car in the evening (on a 65 degree sunny day) to find a few cubes of ice still left. It also fits very nicely in the (often hard to fit) cupholder of my 2003 Nissan Sentra.
Also, this cup is remarkably spill-proof. There's a little plastic gasket that fits around the straw inside the cup. If the cup tips, the gasket keeps the straw from falling out and also stops even a drop from coming out of the opening in the lid. Perfect!
The pattern is adorable, too. I bought it in every color.

I decided to buy this mug because of the previous review which I'm totally agree with. I use mine for my daily nutrional shakes and it has worked excelent. It doesn't spill a drop, it keep my shakes cold for a good enough time. And it is really easy to clean. Great product!

Love being able to swing through the convenience store to get my soda/iced tea fix without having to grab a throwaway cup that's usually foam (or a bottle or can that I'll have to find a recycling bin for). Haven't gotten a good feel for how long it keeps things cold, I usually drink it pretty fast. It's way cute though, and I love that. Considering a second one for when I accidentally leave it locked at the office over the weekend or at night.

I bring this cup everyday to work and refill it throughout my shift. I love it mostly because it doesn't sweat but also because it keeps my beverage cold for a decent amount of time. I happened to grab 4 when they were on sale for $4.45 and could not be happier with the price and product. The only thing I don't love is the straw, which for me is a bit too long. Many of my co-workers have asked me about this cup with an envious eye.
